Role Description The Housekeeping Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruppur. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across production areas, offices, washrooms, and common spaces. Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste collection and disposal, and ensuring that cleaning supplies and equipment are properly used and stored. The Housekeeping Specialist may also manage laundry activities related to mats and office linens, follow safety and cleanliness protocols, and support basic facility upkeep. The role involves coordinating with team members and supervisors to address housekeeping needs promptly and maintain a neat and orderly environment for staff and visitors.
Qualifications
Ability to perform core housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining hygienic workspaces.
Experience with laundry processes, such as washing, drying, and handling mats or office linens.
Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on being polite, respectful, and responsive to requests.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and colleagues, and follow instructions clearly.
Willingness to participate in training on safety, cleaning procedures, and proper use of equipment and chemicals.
Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work on one’s feet for extended periods.
Previous experience in housekeeping or facility maintenance is an advantage.
